2017 Kia Cadenza Boasts Super Quiet Rides

By  |

The 2017 Kia Cadenza was recently launched at this year’s New York auto show and Kia has announced that it will be coming with a starting price tag of $32,890 for the base Premium trim.

This second-gen, full-size, front-wheel-drive sedan will be coming with a host of improvements including more tech and safety features as well as a significant weight reduction.

That’s not the most impressive part, though. Kia has attempted to achieve “library quiet” for its cabin. The automaker has incorporated special shock absorbers with Amplitude Selective Damping and Hydraulic Rebound Stoppers.

Kia has also increased its sound deadening and added acoustic glass as well as a whole new underbody shield in order to achieve this extremely quiet interior.

Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning for Kia Motors America, said, “The new Cadenza adds an extra dose of excitement to the large-car segment with its striking, aggressively handsome looks and premium refinements.”

He adds that, ““But it’s the bottom line where the Cadenza truly shines, offering more luxury, technology and features at a surprisingly affordable starting point, regardless of which trim level is most appealing to our customers.”

The 2017 Kia Cadenza is scheduled to arrive at US dealerships later this month.
