2017 Mazda CX-5: Sleeker Than Before

By  |

Mazda recently release an image of its latest CX-5 mid-range SUV and, although it’s quite obscure, we can already tell this is going to be a stellar.

The image shows the vehicle to be sleeker than its predecessor while mimicking the long and low bonnet of the smaller CX-3. It is shorter at the back, making the CX-5 look more compact.

On top of that, there is a chrome line across the D-pillar around the rest of the windows and a bolder angle to the roofline.

The headlights have been made slimmer and it is significantly sleeker with more detailed surfacing.

This latest version will be based on a new platform, known as Expect Mazda, in order to increase its practical space and add a premium feel to its interior, similar to the Mazda 6 and the CX-9.

Look out for the 2017 Mazda CX-5 making its debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show, from 18 until the 27 November.
