2017 Mercedes AMG E43: Rush To Work, In Style!

By  |

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is moving up a step to the S-Class stratosphere by taking some of its interior design language. It’s probably either trying to shed its ‘executive sedan’ image or trying to prove that ‘executive’ matches sporty.

In any case, the performance model of the premium sedan has come to the fore with two models.

The E43 AMG carries a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine that is used also in the C43 AMD and upcoming AMG GLE 43 Coupe.

The E63 AMG on the other hand is powered by a 4.0L biturbo engine that produces around 600hp, which is scorching hot to say the least. If you’re rushing to work in one of these two, make sure you’re a skilled enough to handle it being able to dash from 0 to 60mph in around 4.5 seconds. You might sweat, but the E-Class would hardly lose its breath.

The E43 AMG wants to take away the ‘bland’ image associated to its class. Drivers will get a nice set of 19-inch alloy wheels along with a tweaked bumper that accommodates substantial air dams complemented by a nice rear diffuser paired with quad exhaust tips.
