"After Alabama disaster GOP must do right thing and DUMP Steve Bannon", King, a Seaford Republican, said in a tweet shortly before 7 a.m.

Far from "dumping Steve Bannon", as NY establishment Republican Rep. Peter King suggested, conservatives should recruit more leaders like him.

Republicans members of Congress and conservative media are united in blaming one person for their party's loss in the deep red state of Alabama Tuesday night: Steve Bannon.

Flake has been outspoken against Moore since allegations of decades-old sexual misconduct with minors surfaced against the Alabama Republican. His act is exhausted, inane and morally vacuous. "If you're going to write a check, write a check", Bannon said at a campaign rally for Moore.

Asked by CNN host Chris Cuomo whether he was calling Bannon "a disheveled drunk", King clarified that he had said Bannon "looks like one".

King then appealed to President Donald Trump to call out for Bannon's banishment from the national political stage saying, "This morning I call on the president to speak from the White House".

Meghan McCain had some choice words for the Breitbart News chairman: "Suck it". I consider myself an Irish Catholic, and he parades himself out there with his weird alt-right views.

She said the White House should make a decision on whether to keep getting involved in these races.

A few seconds later, King added that Bannon "goes out of his way to put on this everyman image when he's a Goldman Sachs millionaire".

Bannon, who has vowed to campaign against multiple establishment Republican members of Congress up for reelection this year, was a Moore supporter from the start, breaking with President Trump who backed incumbent Sen.
