Today, the race hots-up for Wilfried Zaha....

His impressive exploits have begun to turn the heads of numerous Premier League's top sides, and both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the winger in the past few weeks.

Wilfried Zaha stood as one of the English game's hottest prospects when he signed for Manchester United for 15 million pounds from Crystal Palace back in 2013 but after two years at one of the Premier League's most prestigious clubs it became clear that Zaha was simply not ready for the big-time.

Arsenal forward Sanchez is out of contract at the end of the season but the table-topping Blues will face stiff competition from French league leaders Paris Saint-Germain, leading them to lay the foundations for a possible Zaha swoop.

Zaha's blistering form for Palace this season has lifted them out of the relegation zone into 14th after suffering the worst start in Premier League history, lifting his value up into the £40m bracket.

And the champions-elect have begun doing the groundwork on a potential deal for Zaha, who they view as one alternative to Alexis Sanchez.

Wilfried Zaha has been the shining light in what has been a hard season for Crystal Palace thus far.

Tottenham are also believed to be in the market for a new winger to compete with Erik Lamela - who's just returned from a year on the sidelines with a hip injury - and Zaha would fit the sort of mold Mauricio Pochettino is looking for.

However, the newspaper suggests that any move may have to wait until the summer as Palace will do all they can to hang on to the Ivory Coast worldwide in January in order to help their fight for survival.
