According to KTRK, Buzbee and Lindy Layman, 29, were on a date, during which she became very drunk, and the pair returned to Buzbee's home before he called for an Uber to come pick her up.

Police arrested Lindy Lou Layman, 29, of Dallas, on December 23 at the Houston home of Tony Buzbee, who cemented his reputation as one of Texas' most prominent trial lawyers by winning a $100 million federal jury verdict against BP in 2009 over chemical discharges.

Now, he's in the news because a woman he went on a first date with allegedly did $300,000 worth of damage to his art collection, including pouring wine on one of his Andy Warhol originals.

"She at some point appeared too intoxicated and she was asked to leave". "That's when Buzbee called a second Uber driver". She has since been released after posting a $30,000 bond.

"Lindy Lou Layman "intentionally and knowingly" damaged multiple pieces of artwork" by Andy Warhol on December 23, said the New York Daily News.

Then Buzzbee called Layman a second Uber, prosecutors said in court on December 27.

He successfully defended former Texas Gov. Rick Perry in an abuse of power case and -for the party highlights- just hosted a holiday extravaganza this year for his family and friends with special celebrity guest Snoop Dogg.

Buzbee also made headlines a year ago for parking a tank outside of his home, causing a brief fight with his homeowner's association.
