2018 Toyota C-HR: Here Comes The US Model

By  |

The 2018 Toyota C-HR will be making its official US debut at the Los Angeles auto show in a couple of weeks.

The C-HR had made its appearance at the Geneva motor show and the Paris show and now it is set to be released to the US population.

There is still no confirmed design or powertrain info for the US model, for now. But basing on the prototype spotted sometime back in Michigan, we can expect the model to look pretty similar to the European version.

It maintains the same overall shape, body lines and rear but the headlights and taillights will be receiving some significant changes.

The European model is equipped with either a 1.8-liter gas-hybrid system producing a 122 horsepower, a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with 115 horsepower, or a 2.0-liter engine producing 150 horsepower.

The same powertrain can’t be expected for the US models, so only time will reveal what the US models will be receiving.

The Toyota C-HR will make its debut on November 17, ahead of the LA auto show.
