2018 Toyota Supra Hints At Better Performance

By  |

After more than a decade and half, the Toyota is Supra is making a comeback as a 2018 model and the rumor mill hasn’t stopped churning.

AutoCar reports that the Supra will be the first in Toyota’s line to form the beginning of a new Toyota Performance sub brand and it even suggested that Toyota would be able to take on BMW’s M Division.

Although this has long been rumored, it seems more plausible right now as the latest Supra is said to be coming with up to 400bhp with its twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 engine that is expected to record a 0-61mph in less than 4 seconds and achieves 155mph top speed. There would also be a lower range model with 2.0-liter, four-cylinder producing up to 300bhp.

Recent spy shots have been showing the 2018 Toyota Supra making its rounds and Supra fans who have long awaited its arrival just can’t help but get excited at the prospect of a more potent model.
