Kanye West hasn't been in the news as of late (which could be considered a good thing), but a story has popped up on Monday (Jan. 8) about his recent act of kindness to a cancer patient. They talked for awhile and the girl then asked Kanye to rap, "I Love Kanye" - her favorite song. Sadly, she died several days later.

Kanye's selfless deed could have gone completely unnoticed had an acquaintance of the girl's family not tweeted: "This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her".

Kanye's other half, Kim Kardashian West, [VIDEO] confirmed the story by retweeting it with the comment, "We are praying for her family". "Making her happy in her last moments", a woman named Debbie wrote. A few months later he posted a photo of a custom pair of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2s in cream white along with a handwritten note from the rapper. Kim Kardashian West has said it's okay to eat ice cream, so it's okay to eat ice cream.

Kim and Kanye also have a four-year-old daughter North and are expecting a third daughter via surrogate.

What do you think about Kanye West and what he did as far as granting one of his fans their dying wish?
