This Diablo 3 on Nintendo Switch teaser is ideal

Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition is scheduled to roll out on March 6 but, this Tweet has gotten many excited as well as confused as Nintendo Switch is in the talks for the game. And right now that seems to be a port of Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch.

Very recently we had Blizzard Entertainment's Tweet Tease regarding the Diablo 3 coming on Switch.

"We can assure you we're not that clever".

When pinged for question, a Blizzard spokesperson told Polygon via e-mail that the post was meant to be a fun community engagement piece.

I doubt we'll hear anything about this project until Blizzard is ready to show the game running in all its glory. There's been one notable exception to that rule: Diablo 3, which is available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after initially being ported to previous-generation consoles. If the game came to the Switch, we'd start back over.

Blizzard has name-dropped the Switch - or at least Nintendo - in the past. Naturally, followers on social media thought that was supposed to indicate that Diablo was being released to the Switch. Possibly. "We have nothing to announce" is often public relations shorthand for "We have a careful marketing rollout plan for this announcement and it will happen in due time".

It may be that Diablo, Blizzard's action-RPG is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Blizzard has since stated that they no longer intend to do so, but we at least know that the console is on the studio's mind.
