Brady wasn't alone as Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker received a similar haircut as well.

"There is not one person paying attention to me because Tom Brady is getting his head shaved", Baker said, per WHDH.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shaved his head on Thursday for cancer research.

For every employee, friend or family member who participates, the company will donate $5,000 to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Red Sox President Sam Kennedy and Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch were also in attendance.

Granite says it has raised $14.7 million since 2014 for Dana-Farber through the annual Saving by Shaving event. Brady was billed as a "mystery guest" in a news release issued before he made the appearance.

After the buzz cut was complete, Brady showed off his new look on Instagram.
