WWDC 2018 will be Apple's 29 such conference and will be held at the McEnery Convention Centre in San Jose. Every year at WWDC, Apple developers get an insight of what the company is working on while getting the opportunity to share their experiences with others.

Immerse yourself in over 100 technical and design-focused sessions presented by Apple engineers to help you build the next generation of apps using newly announced Apple technologies. If you're interested in attending, you can apply for a ticket on the WWDC website now through March 22 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Occasionally the company also uses the event to announce hardware products. Tickets are issued through a random selection process, and developers will be notified of application status by March 23 at 5 p.m. PDT.

As with previous years, Apple is relying on a lottery system to address demand for tickets. This year, Apple will unveil iOS 12 and we could see the new Apple iPad Pro slates that feature an edge-to-edge display, the TrueDepth Camera and Face ID.

Additionally, Apple plans to make 350 WWDC Student Scholarships available this year, which includes free entry to the event, lodging and a one year membership to the Apple Developer Program.
