It was the first time a 16 seed ever defeated a 1 seed.

The lunch combo consists of a 4-slice, deep-dish pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi product of your choice.

Their victory wasn't just historic - but it earned you a free pizza lunch.

Little Caesars promised to give out a free lunch combo before the game if "crazy happens", and now they plan to make good on that promise.

The pizza chain pledged to give out free lunch combos if a 16th seed team beat a 1-seeded team in the NCAA March Madness tournament (a feat that has "never actually occurred since March Madness expanded to include 64 teams").

The promotion will take place from 11:30 a.m.to 1 p.m.

To qualify, you must place your order no later than 1 p.m.

It's one item per family, so don't act like you know anybody else once you're in the store. Offer expires and will not be redeemable after 1:00 p.m.

Last night, something insane happened during March Madness.

Little Caesars is going to stick by its promise. This is only offered at participating stores. Founded in 1959 as a single, family-owned restaurant, Little Caesars has become the third largest pizza chain in the world*** with stores in 23 countries and territories worldwide, including in each of the 50 US states.
