"Salah has had a phenomenal season".

However, with such great form comes serious interest from Europe's elite, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with making huge bids for the former Roma man in the summer.

Salah has been the standout player in England this term, smashing an incredible 36 goals across all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side - including four against Watford in his last outing.

With Real Madrid talisman Ronaldo having just one more goal in all competitions with 37 and Messi now boasting 35 goals in all competitions, Salah is producing similar figures to the two players who have dominated the sport for the last decade.

His goals have helped the Reds shoot up to third in the Premier League table and also qualify for Champions League quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Can has offended some Liverpool supporters by stating in an interview that he has the ability to represent "a very big club" next season.

Throw in the fact that he scores goals for fun, doesn't get injured often and is getting better with each passing week and you have a recipe that Real Madrid will struggle to resist. "Although I must say honestly that the level has waned in recent years", he said.

The Liverpool midfielder is out of contract this summer and has strung the club along for many months, clearly enjoying his situation of being able to choose where he wants to go at the end of the season.

"If I was Liverpool, I'd take it (interest in Salah) as a compliment", he explained on Sky Sports' The Debate show.

At the end of the day, money will probably not be the big issue when Salah's future comes under discussion as he is already a multi-millionaire and would not look to leave Liverpool to bolster his bank balance.

"I do not want to exclude anything because I do not know what I will do from the summer".

"There are other players out there that have proved themselves over two or three years who might be closer to going to those types of clubs".
