Why April 30th Should Be An Official Holiday For Walk Of Fame Honorees NSYNC

Yes, yesterday was a great day because it reunited one of our favourite boy bands of all time and transported us back to the early 00s.

Every member of the boy band was there - JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and even Justin Timberlake.

Things got a little more sentimental when each of the guys spoke, thanking their fans, their families and each other.

"You guys are the best fans in the world", Timberlake, who was joined by wife Jessica Biel, said.

In addition to talking about that brotherhood, Bass took the opportunity to address a topic that never came up when *NSYNC was an active boy band: his sexuality.

"Growing up in MS, in a Southern Baptist church, in a town where everyone knows your business, I had a secret-I was gay", Bass shared, explaining how the group's fans inspired him to come out later in his life.

He ended by offering the screaming fans hope by adding, "I can't wait to see what the future holds", prompting the army of fans to start chanting, "Reunite".

Fatone is referring to the 2000 single "It's Gonna Be Me" that has found new life as an internet meme. "We're brothers. We're family", he began. So break out your old gear just in case.

"It's not really about us - we're happy to be there, but at that point that star is mainly for the fans", Chasez told ET on Friday. "They gave us the opportunity to share our music with people".

"So many nights on stage, I'd see young gay fans singing their hearts out", Bass said.

A pop-up store selling the group's official merchandise opened Saturday at the Hollywood & Highland complex and will remain open through Tuesday.

Timberlake is now on tour promoting his new album "Man of the Woods", but hinted he could be working with the group again.

A campfire singalong with members of his Tennessee Kids troupe followed, along with a sexy spin with a neon red microphone stand while enclosed by laser beams during "Suit and Tie".
