Congress chief Rahul Gandhi tweeted a report card for Narendra Modi a day after the Prime Minister's big outreach effort to the farmers of Karnataka.

The scion of the Gandhi family, who was attacked by PM Modi in Karnataka recently, said that his party's aim was to ensure that the RSS does not crush the voice of Karnataka. It is about security of women, the development of farmers. "Do not assume that it is only about electing an MLA, it is much beyond that", Modi told an election rally at Navodaya Vidyalaya Grounds in Kalaburagi, about 630 km northwest of Bengaluru.

Elaborating on what the BJP government at the centre has done, PM Modi assured that needs of farmers in Karnataka would be taken care of under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa.

"We have seen the state being ruined for five years and we will no longer allow the state to be ruined further. They kept on asking proof of the strikes from me". "The BJP Government that will come to power and the BJP Government in Delhi that is committed to the cause of farmers will work together to bring a change", he said. "In 1948 after defeating Pakistan, General Thimayya was insulted by PM Nehru and then RM Krishna Menon". "It's Congress' nature to disrespect martyrs and freedom fighters".

Applauding the farmers of Kalaburagi district for growing high-quality redgram, Mr. Modi pulled up the State government for being insensitive to the problems of farmers and not getting them the Minimum Support Price (MSP). "Should our soldiers go on such operations with a camera or a gun?" he said. In the last election, the Congress promised they will make Khargeji the Chief Minister. But the Congress later sidelined Kharge, PM Modi added. They misled the Dalit community.

Apart from the PM, BJP national president Amit Shah will be addressing 30 rallies and star campaigner Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be addressing 20 rallies in poll-bound Karnataka.

"Modi is aware about the happenings in Karnataka politics, and also what Rahul Gandhi said about me". As of now most of the surveys predicting Congress Party at first place, BJP at Second place and Deve Gowda's JDS party at third place.
