Montgomery County police reported Tuesday that two men and a woman were killed in Monday afternoon's shooting at a Brookeville home.

Police said the suspect, Christopher Wilson Snyder, 41, fled to his house across the street. Three others, including Murphy's wife, escaped unharmed. Shortly after police officers eventually broke down the door and entered the home, the suspect fatally shot himself.

Police are still searching the house for weapons and explosives based on the fact that Snider said during a conversation with negotiators. He shot himself around 11 p.m. shortly after tactical officers forced their way into his residence.

"When they breached the front door, the suspect was on the phone with negotiators".

Police reportedly found "a number" of guns in the home, Manger said at the press conference. He asked the negotiator, 'Did they just break in to the front door?' and then hung up the phone.

There were six people inside the house when Snyder began shooting, Manger said.

According to the chief of police of Montgomery County George. "I'm trying to figure out right now if there's another alternative route, I can only think of one but if they don't allow that you know essentially people in the area are going to be stuck for an indefinite amount of time", Azad said.

The police recovered guns from the suspect's house. The neighborhood is not far from the Triadelphia Reservoir and near the Howard County border.
