Boston Celtics Top 15 Draft Picks of All Time

The 2018 NBA Draft Lottery takes place on Wednesday May 16 BST

There are 1,000 four-digit combinations (technically 1,001, but one gets thrown out) divided amongst the 14 lottery teams in random order.

Since the NBA Draft Lottery has included 14 picks (a system in place since 2004), 27 players have been drafted from American colleges who now play outside a power conference. It's one of the most ridiculous, one-sided deals in recent National Basketball Association history, and it's the reason why the Sacramento Kings do not have their first-round pick in 2019.

While those teams will see their lottery odds shrink, every team from fourth-14th will see its chances at landing the top pick increase, even if it will only be a small percentage better.

So that's your challenge this week - name all 27 of them.

Either way, Philadelphia has to be thrilled over this first-round pick of Los Angeles finally coming into play after all of these years since there will be plenty of great prospects to consider if they do end up with the selection. Along with the Suns, the Grizzlies, Mavericks, Hawks and Magic make up the other teams with the five best odds at getting the No. 1 pick.

Thanks to a couple of pointless late-season wins (and some early-season success before Kristaps Porzingis tore his ACL), the Knicks only have a 6.1 percent chance of moving into the top three.

Gilbert, now 21, has represented the Cavaliers at the NBA's Draft Lottery a few times, and will handle the honors again on Tuesday night in Chicago.

Without question, the most important factor for Philadelphia will be whether that Los Angeles pick falls between 2-5, and go to Boston as a result. Denver also has two second-round picks, acquired via trades with the Clippers and Warriors.

Chances of having twins (1.5 percent) per TwinsUK.

Hoping to land its next star, the Orlando Magic are dusting off an old friend for Tuesday's NBA Draft: Lil' Penny.
