Brad Pitt's Child Support

Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of slacking on child support payments

In a new court filing submitted Tuesday obtained by NBC News, Jolie claimed Pitt has not contributed any "meaningful" child support since this whole mess began, and asked the court to force him to comply.

The estranged couple has not yet finalized their divorce, and reportedly put the process on hold as they worked out a shared custody agreement. Jolie's team didn't define what constituted as a "meaningful" child-support payment.

Jolie's attorneys claimed in the filing that the former couple had "informal arrangements" for the payment of the children's expenses, but stated that Pitt had not adhered to those guidelines.

The judge also ordered that Jolie arrange a phone call "with her kids and their doctors" to confirm to them directly that they are safe with Pitt.

A spokesperson for the actress told People she wants 'closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children'.

Back in June, the exes made headlines when court docs revealed a judge wanted Brad to spend more time with their six children. Jolie's net worth is slightly smaller, estimated at $160 million.

Jolie's lawyers are requesting to appear before a judge, so they can schedule a status conference to address all of the financial issues in the separation.

Reps for both Pitt and Jolie have been contacted by TooFab.

It's been almost two years since the once-untouchable celebrity entity known as Brangelina dissolved into just Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt after the actress filed for divorce. She is now in London filming maleficent and a judge set out a schedule for time the children should spend with their father, either individually or in a group.

The brood is now living in London with Jolie as she films Maleficent 2, while Pitt has spent his court-ordered time with the kids in London and Los Angeles, where he is shooting Quentin Tarantino's new movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

"She has gotten a reputation of being very unreasonable throughout this divorce and things seems to be getting worse", the source adds.
