In his victory speech last month, Imran Khan had expressed his willingness to improve Pakistan's ties with India and said that his government would like the leaders of the two sides to "resolve all disputes", including the "core issue" of Kashmir, through talks.

"Prime Minister (Khan) also extended invitation to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to visit Pakistan", the statement said.

They also called for enhanced efforts to establish peace and stability in all regional countries and fight against terrorism and extremism.

Punjab minister and former cricketer Sidhu attended the oath-taking ceremony of Imran in Islamabad on August 18.

The premier was received by Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on arrival.

Khan's advisor on climate change Malik Amin Aslam said that trees were planted and distributed freely across the whole country with an objective to motivate the general public to make Pakistan greener.

"Kargil War happened after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee returned from Pakistan". While Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi publicly declared the country support for Iran's "principled stance" over the 2015 nuclear deal, after the withdrawal of the United States from the agreement, analysts said that Islamabad might not be in a position to provide Tehran with the support it has promised. "You take one step and we will take two", Sidhu said, referring to Imran.

"Hope is the biggest top (cannon), which conquers the impossible".

She said the proposal, which is a "model for conflict resolution", would be presented before the Cabinet and also Prime Minister Khan.

"Nothing except negativity was gained by blood shedding".

"Sportsmen or cricketers, be it Wasim Akram, Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli, or artists like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.they associate with people and I, too, went to Pakistan with this hope only".
