No Winning Mega Millions ticket, jackpot now $654 million

The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to an estimated $654 million, after no one won in Friday's drawing.

With no jackpot winners reported after Tuesday night's drawing, the next jackpot is estimated to be worth $548 million - or $309.2 million in cash.

The drawing on Tuesday would have granted the victor the sixth-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history. The chance of matching all six numbers and winning the jackpot is one in 302.5 million.

One ticket sold in Arkansas matched five of the six numbers Friday night and it included the megaplier bonus. Not bad for a couple of $2 tickets.

The largest jackpot in Mega Millions history was won in March 2012.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states including Colorado as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Friday's winning numbers numbers were 4-24-46-61-70 and a Mega Ball of 7. The most recent Mega Ball was 18 on Tuesday night.

The biggest prize won on a single ticket was for $543 million.

Saturday's jackpot has a cash option of $179.4 million.

The Powerball jackpot climbed after no one matched all six numbers Wednesday night, but three lucky winners matched the first five numbers for a cool $1 million. No one has hit the Powerball jackpot since August 11.
