The expecting royal wore a tulip-sleeved, cape-backed gown by London label Safiyaa in a shade of blue that nearly perfectly matched the Fiji flag.

Crowds of people stood in the rain to witness the royal couple wave from the GPH balcony.

The royal visit is taking place during an election campaign, and Harry and Meghan were due to meet leaders from all political parties at a state dinner later Tuesday. Before their October 15 confirmation, the newlywed was keeping her bump under wraps with flowing dresses, oversized coats and even a stack of folders.

While Meghan recently took some well-earned rest during the first leg of their tour in Australia, she is thought to be back to her full schedule and planning to attend all engagements.

At the special request of Kensington Palace, the heroic Ambulance officers were invited to personally meet with the Duke and Duchess during their short time on Fraser Island on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry sported a smart grey suit, with his military medals pinned to his chest, for the momentous occasion, looking every bit the proud soldier.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have arrived in Fiji, where they were greeted by a Guard of Honour at Nausori Airport.

The pair will attend an official welcome ceremony later on Tuesday at Albert Park celebrating Fijian cultural identity and heritage.

The 28-year-old said: "As soon as I introduced my daughter to Harry, he said "That's a great name".

Meghan will today embark on her first solo duties of the tour, visiting the British High Commission for morning tea and the Suva Market. They stopped in Fiji to refuel en route to Australia and managed to squeeze in a brief engagement.

"I'm very glad that the British Government is increasing its support for Fiji and the region, and we are proud of the long-standing collaboration between the United Kingdom and Fiji on climate change; and in fact, the United Kingdom just hosted its own Talanoa on climate change across Great Britain earlier this month".
