Android N: Splitscreen, Notifications Panel, Improved Doze Feature, That’s About It

By  |

Seems like Google never intended to release any sort of information regarding the Android N, but some of them have been leaked and when it’s gotten archived on sites like Reddit and other Android blogs, there’s no way we’re going to have them unseen now. Well, it’s not like there’s anything extraordinary, right?

Extraordinary; that’s for you to judge. Since we’ve discovered from the leaks that the Android N is going to be featuring a dual-screen for your multitasking purposes, we aren’t sure if people are going to be excited over this. But perhaps it’s going to be super beneficial to larger smartphones; so prepare for some laptop capabilities when this update rolls out.

There’s also a new notifications panel that’s seemingly confirmed by Google; so there’s bound to be some cosmetic changes to the notification cards themselves. We heard that many apps will begin including direct reply; so there’s that to look forward to. Last but not least, Doze will now be working if your phone isn’t moving and when the screen’s turned off. So we’re probably going to see some slight increase in battery life for phones running on Android N.

Are you looking forward to these three features on your soon-to-be-updated smartphone?
