Apple Watch: Still Go For Pokémon Go!

By  |

Recent rumors were mostly pointing toward a no-go for the Pokémon Go on the Apple Watch, however, thankfully, Niantic has refuted all these rumors by a twitter post.

A release date has yet to be revealed for the Apple Watch app but it seem very likely that it would only be making its way next year as there are only two weeks left in this year.

Pokémon Go’s Apple Watch launch will allow trainers to count precisely how many steps would be needed to hatch eggs, track close Pokémons and determine the required experience points to upgrade a level.

Despite this not allowing you to capture any new Pokémon, you will still be able to hatch eggs and pay a visit to PokéStops.

On a separate note, Niantic had launched its new Pokémon on the app and this time it’s all the baby Pokémon from Gen 2, such as Togepi, Pichu and Igglybuff, according to DigitalSpy.

The game maker is still keeping all the Poké babies you can find in the game under wraps, for now, but you could get them by hatching them from eggs. What type of eggs is also still an undisclosed matter, so why don’t you try your luck by walking and seeing for yourself?
