Calling All Amateur iPhone 6S Photographers!

By  |

…because Apple is relaunching the successful “Shot on iPhone 6” campaign from last year, in hopes of showcasing the highly-creative ones to more cities than ever before. Erin Brooks’ photo of her three-year-old girl (shown above) has been widely received by Apple that they decided they had to use it for their campaign.

It’s not surprising that the tech giant would want to repeat the success that they’ve gone through from last year. The Shot on iPhone 6 campaign featured the masterpieces of more than 70 photographers, with those same images being featured in print media across 70 cities in 24 countries. However, Apple wants to take a different approach this time around.

This year’s “Shot on iPhone 6S” campaign would feature 53 pictures taken by 41 amateur photographers from all over the world, with the images to be displayed in 85 cities across 26 countries in various print media outlets. So, that should be very interesting to look forward to.

Apart from that, the campaign this year might include ultra-resolution 4K footage that’s taken by the iPhone 6S, which is similar to last year’s campaign. We’re going to lie if we say we’re not excited for this. At least it sort of gives the company a “rebranding” feeling after being protested for their iPhone 7’s design.
