GM 5 Brings Nougat Goodness Right Out The Box!

General Mobile has announced its new device known as the GM 5 and it will be the first Android One device to be equipped with the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Besides the Pixel devices, there are only a few other leading smartphones that come equipped with the latest update straight out of the box and it’s surprising that a mid-range device would be included in that list.

The GM 5 boasts a 5-inch display with HD resolution. It will be running on a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcoom Snapdragon processor, most likely a 4xx chipset, according to General Mobile.

Besides that, it will be equipped with a 2GB RAM, 16GB in-built storage with up to 64GB expandable storage and a 2,500 mAh battery. It will come with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

General Mobile has yet to release more details on the pricing of the device but it is said that it will be available across 20 markets: Azerbaijan, Albania, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Iraq, Kenya, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
