Google Glass Generation 2 Is Not For The Masses

By  |

We think you might probably be rather disappointed in the design for Google’s latest device. It seems like Google is just not ready to give up on their Google Glass device, because they’ve recently come up with the second edition, which is called the Google Glass: Enterprise Edition. Not to be offensive, but with a name like that, it’s really meant to target the enterprise market and not the consumer market.

So, what sets it apart from its predecessor? It’s still a head piece that goes right over your ear and features a small display which projects images to your eyes, and it still has a camera on top that’s rather distinguishable and attention-grabbing. You’re probably going to get a lot of stares from wearing this to a local bar. Well, the latest device is going to feature a more robust build, a larger prism, and has a hinge that allows it to fold as well. Oh, and did we mention that it’s waterproof and debris-proof too?

Now, we’ll think that it has further improved since its days of becoming the ultimate Google Glass, where everybody just wanted to have one. But we still have to admit that it looks pretty unappealing, sorry, Google!
