Here’s The 10-Second Teaser Of Volkswagen Microbus Slated To Arrive At 2016 CES

Automakers sure know how to bring fun (and anticipation) to their dearest fans. This latest teaser is only a 10-second clip of the Volkswagen Microbus, and if you blink, that’s it.

Well, it’s not exactly a 10-second video, because the title sequence starts at the 0:05 mark (what a bummer). So it’s literally just 4 seconds of quick-cutting, zoomed-in scenes of parts of the vehicle and boom, your urge to see the car at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has been increased. There’s also some leaks about the Microbus Concept will tout VW’s all-electric powertrain, something that’s expected in the actual production model of the vehicle.

Right before the VW’s messy emissions scandal broke few months back, they actually had plans to roll out with 20 electric cars and plug-in hybrids by 2020, therefore, making the all-electric Microbus would definitely fit those plans. It’s worth mentioning that the automaker is still in the midst of handling the emissions scandal from inside out, and it will probably take a while.
