Here’s Why Your Kia Might Have A Corrosion Issue

By  |

Kia recently announced to have their 2004-2013 Models integrated with an additional anti-corrosion protection to some under-body components, for safety reasons and to providing a lasting vehicle for the drivers. And what’s more, the repair would not be charged to the owner as this is a voluntary service campaign.

The affected vehicles are those that have been sold or currently registered in places where road salt is heavily used during winter months: Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri, just to name a few. You can check out the full list here to see if your car has been affected.

So, all you would have to do is to call up your local dealer and provide your vehicle’s identification number to determine whether or not it’s been affected. Well, since it believes to be beneficial to vehicle longevity, if you’re driving a 2007 Kia Spectra, why not have it added to your car? It could also help to enhance the value of your car in the long run.
