Huawei Honor 5C: Slaps Buyers With Great Value!

Just like the Samsung Galaxy A and J series phones with the Galaxy S6, the newly introduced Huawei Honor 5C boasts a design that is a spitting image of the Honor 5X.

If you think the 5X is cheap, wait till you see the price of the 5C, which is very capable in its own right.

Unfortunately for US tech buyers, the 5C is not going to follow in the footsteps of its sibling stateside. It is a China-only phone, at least for now.

What it offers in terms of performance is a Kirin 650 octa-core processor that gets help from 2GB RAM. In terms of display, it wears a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen delivering a full 1080p resolution.

It snaps decent pictures using a 13MP main camera and an above average 8MP selfie catcher, both of which have f/2.0 lenses. As part of the similar design with the 5X, the 5C has a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, right under the camera.

Apart from dual-SIM support, the phone is compatible with 128GB worth of expandable microSD storage. Internal space sits at 16GB. Energy is derived from a 3,000mAh battery, which is boosted by the software efficiency of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

And oh yeah about the phone’s price – it sells for only 900 yuan, which converts directly to $140. With all the aforementioned specs, that’s what you call jaw-dropping value!
