Nintendo Wii U & New 3DS Gets SNES Games (Lineup)

By  |

Nintendo fans would have another reason to rejoice. In a recent Nintendo Direct conference, the company released a pretty consistent list of Wii U and 3DS games for us all to look forward to in the coming months. And they are looking pretty good, if we got to say so ourselves.

Perhaps it’s the fact that it’s going to include some SNES games to the new 3DS console, allowing fans to have an actual reason to celebrate. We’ve heard about how the fans were constantly insisting on getting those SNES games on the console, but to no avail. Well, they wouldn’t have to worry anymore now.

All thanks to the improved CPU on the new Nintendo 3DS, the following SNES titles are possible for fans to enjoy: Donkey Kong Country (and Donkey Kong Country 2), Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Metroid. Do note that these are only some of them, but it’s still a pretty good list, huh?

As for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS games that Nintendo is planning to roll out in the coming months, here’s the full list:

Nintendo 3DS
Kirby: Planet Robobot, Metroid Prime, Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Monster Hunter Generations, Disney Art Academy, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Bravely Second: End Layer, Dragon Quest VII, Fire Emblem Fates.

Nintendo Wii U
Star Fox Zero, Star Fox Guard, Paper Mario: Color Splash, Super Mario Maker, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Splatoon, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Lost Reavers.

You are very welcome.
