These two were released last year and have been equally well-received, but just how much does one topple over the other? And since each one’s being a successor to their previous flagships, it’s no surprise that the fans had high expectations from them. While the OnePlus 2 looked almost identical to the first model, the G4 came with two new variants of materials for its back.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 2 handset has the same plastic back as its predecessor with a sandstone black texture, and the sides are now protected with a metal frame. It’s also measured at 151.8×74.9×9.9mm and weights 175 grams. And on the front side is a new fingerprint scanner hidden inside the home button. While the LG G4 is thinner and lighter as it measures 148.9×76.1×9.8 and weights only 155 grams, while its back is available in two variants of materials: genuine leather with a vertical stitching that runs down the middle, or plastic with a 3D diamond pattern.

They both have the same size when it comes to their screen displays. The OnePlus 2 sports an LTPS IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The LG G4 has an IPS LCD display, but it supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 538 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Last but not least, the OnePlus 2 has a non-removable battery of 3300 mAh, while the LG G4 has a 3000 mAh unit, which is replaceable. Can you now figure out which is the upper hand of the two?
