The $2.55M 2016 Pagani Huayra BC Is Not For You Anymore

By  |

Don’t get too excited about preparing that deposit for one of the 20 Pagani Huayra BC babies, because they are all officially sold out. Even at the so-called measly price of $2.55 million. Man, looks like the 20 that Pagani produced isn’t even enough to satisfy the desire of other enthusiasts, since there have been quite a demand for it now.

Moreover, the 20 lucky buyers of the 2016 model of the car were truly lucky indeed, for having to ride on the beaut before it’s even officially unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show next month. It’s been claimed that the Huayra BC is the most technologically advanced Huayra Coupe yet, which introduces innovative solutions for future Pagani cars as a reference.

And if you’ve been wondering what the BC stands for, it’s an honorary gesture to commemorate the late Pagani’s first Zonda customer, Benny Caiola. He was a 79-year-old Italian-born American who passed on in 2010, and is said to be the profound inspiration to Pagani founder, Horacio Pagani. That’s a very thoughtful and lovely touch, isn’t it?

Under the hood of this beaut lies the Mercedes-AMG constructed 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12 engine. All of which could produce a whopping 789 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque, though none of that is set in stone as Pagani has indicated that the engine’s final specs “will be released soon”. Well, we’ll have to see about how soon it really is.

Are you one of the 20 lucky buyers of the Pagani Huayra BC, or the disheartened one for not being able to get it?
