The 2015 Sales Proves That Toyota Tacoma Is Well-Loved

By  |

Toyota had a very good reason to celebrate; 2015 was certainly a banner year of sales for the Toyota Tacoma. And what’s more, the Tacoma’s 179,561 units sold was more than the combined sales of Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Colorado, and Nissan Frontier (theirs summed up to 177,325 units). Those figures say a lot, of course, but they’ve certainly had their efforts paid off because of what they did.

Firstly, Toyota did a fantastic job in predicting the mid-sized truck market expansion and then took decisive action. And more importantly, they were pretty confident in their abilities to hire more workers in producing the Tacoma, knowing that GMC and Chevy have also got their models to be launched. The automaker’s next big contributing factor to Tacoma’s sales was to “mess with success”. They knew they were quite out of the league knowing their contenders are just as good (if not better), so they’ve done their part in updating and compromising the truck to what it’s known right now.

It’s also good to know that the 2016 Tacoma has now outsold the 2015 model by a pretty wide margin. Well, what can we say, kudos to the team!
