Want To Look At The Insides Of The Apple Smart Battery Case?

So, you’ve seen the Apple Smart Battery Case, probably used it, received weird stares from the public saying it’s truly ugly, but you still want to keep it, because it’s still a good product. But, have you ever imagined what’s inside that’s driving the juices of your phone to crazily increase? Well, let’s take a look inside.

Apparently, Apple uses a soft, reinforced elastomer hinge design to accommodate that entire bump in the trunk and to allow your phone to slide easily in and out of the case. Well, that kind of sounds thoughtful of them, didn’t they? (But, it’s still ugly.) And it also houses a 7.13 Whr (1877 mAh at 3.8V) capacity, where it more than doubles up your iPhone 6S’s 6.55 Whr capacity. It’s also worth noting that since it’s such a smart battery, you probably think that most of the major stuffs are incorporated into the battery, right? Nope, because there’re only rudimentary ICs inside, so it looks like most of the brains probably live in the software on your iPhone.

It’s probably fun to have the case torn apart to reveal what truly lies within the insides of the “smartness”, but would you ever do that to your casing that’s worth $99? Come on, it’s still money, anyway.
